I am a recent Ph.D. from the George Washington University's Political Science Department, where I drew on over ten years of policy experience to explore emerging issues in security studies. My research focuses on how governments innovate to secure their national interests, particularly in the realms of military manpower and support to foreign proxies.
In addition to an M.A. and M.Phil. from George Washington, I have an M.A. in Arab Studies and a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University. My research languages are Arabic and French, and my coding proficiency is in Stata.
